sitting in this metal box
can't find the key or pick the lock
my stomach is turning to knots
I think they've left me rot

the guard hands me the final meal
strangely he asks me how I feel
I'm handed the plate and I kneel
as I slowly eat my final meal

they're coming I hear them
the footsteps getting louder
they're crashing like thunder
obnoxious pitter-patter
I can't take this I am losing all control
it's too late you vile Oedipus
it's already happening

They're putting me on display
so the world can watch me decay
they're killing me publicly
'cause it took so long to catch me

I question my sanity
as I contemplate befriending a tree
the guards constantly laugh at me
they'll see me swinging
dangling from the tree

The guards lead me through these cave like walls
we're making our way through the door with a crawl
I begin to reflect it all
I'm spacing staring at the walls

they're coming I hear them
